Big Ten Baseball Academic Progress Rates (APR)
The NCAA has just released their Academic Progress Rates (APR) report for this year. Only Indiana with an APR of 924, just under the 925 cut line, is in any danger. The rest of the conference has solid numbers for their ball squads.
Here’s how the teams stack up.
1. Northwestern – 985
2. Michigan – 979
3. Ohio State – 978
4. Illinois – 976
5. Iowa – 974
6. Michigan State – 969
7. Penn State – 967
8. Minnesota – 947
9. Purdue – 946
10. Indiana – 924
I would expect that Indiana would avoid any penalties by filing an APR Improvement Plan with the NCAA similar to the one that they put together for their basketball team.
