Are the Hoosiers going to pull off a miracle weekend?
While PSU, Illinois, and Ohio State battle it out for the third seed in the Big Ten tournament, there’s potentially a huge choking sound coming out of East Lansing.
Indiana game into the weekend in eighth place in the Big Ten standings, 2 1/2 games out of making the tournament, with only a very slim chance of getting in. In order for them to claim a spot in the tournament, they needed to sweep Michigan State on the road and have Northwestern drop at least three of their four.
Halfway through weekend play, the Hoosiers have won two from MSU while Northwestern has dropped two and the shirt collar is getting a little tight in East Lansing.
