Indiana continues their magical run
The Hoosiers won game two over MSU 7-3. The Spartan loss coupled with Northwestern’s split with Michigan means that Michigan State is officially out of the Big Ten tournament. They can only hope to play spoiler for Indiana as the Hoosiers, Ohio State, and Northwestern fight it out for the last spots. The Hoosiers actually control their own destiny now as they can lock up the final spot tomorrow with a win over MSU. Indiana can also get in if Northwestern doesn’t top Michigan tomorrow.
At start of play yesterday, Indiana was a long shot to make the tournament. Just thirty six hours later, they have to be considered the favorite to make it.
