The Penn State baseball team snapped its seven-game losing streak Friday morning, defeating Kent State 7-3 in the first round of the Coca-Cola Classic.
The Nittany Lions got on the board early and never looked back, getting a strong pitching performance out of Mike Wanamaker. The starting pitcher went six innings and allowed only three runs while striking out five. David Lutz came in to pitch the last three innings and picked up his first save of the season, allowing only one hit.
